Giới từ kép và giới từ phức là những giới từ gồm từ hai từ trở lên nhưng hoạt động như một giới từ duy nhất. Giới từ kép ghép hai giới từ (into, onto, out of); giới từ phức thường có dạng (giới từ) + danh từ/tính từ + giới từ (in front of, according to).
